#### 2025.07 - Two-Token System Experiment

Following community feedback on xMEGAPI launch, we implemented a dual-token architecture separating governance (xMEGAPI) from value distribution ($FURMION coin). This addresses concerns about token utility overlap and improves incentive alignment. ## CCGF

### A self-sustaining engine for public goods funding

This document describes an experimental framework for sustainable public goods funding, specifically designed to support [*decentralized science*](https://ethereum.org/en/desci/) (**DeSci**) projects.

The **Continuous Convertible Grants Framework** (CCGF) aims to become a [*HyperStructure*](https://jacob.energy/hyperstructures.html)—an unstoppable, free, valuable, and expansive system that can perpetually support scientific advancement.

Inspired by successful mechanisms like [*Quadratic Funding*](https://www.wtfisqf.com/), [*StreamingQF*](https://github.com/Geo-Web-Project/streaming-quadratic-funding), and [*Gardens*](https://www.gardens.fund/), CCGF represents an evolution of these approaches designed to create greater impact across the **DeSci ecosystem**.

If you are new to [*Web3*](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] and these terms, we suggest reading [**Appendix 1: Glossary & Key Concepts**](/ccgf/appendices/appendix-1-glossary-and-key-concepts.md) first.

This is an evolving experiment, starting with the launch of [**$MEGAPI**](/ccgf/tokenomics/megapi.md) token and [*Gardens*-based governance](/ccgf/governance/governance-participation/gardens.md).

:bangbang: **WARNING:** As with any experimental framework, there are risks involved, and lots of missing pieces will be determined through the governance process. Please read [**Appendix 2: Risk Factors**](/ccgf/appendices/appendix-2.md) before participating.
